Apple approved Notability 4.1 and it’s now available on the App Store. It’s a big update, so get it today.

GOOD NEWS — Notability 4.1 for iPad has been sent to Apple, and should be available in a few days! 4.1 is a major update including many new features, improvements, and bug fixes. We hope you like it as much as we do.

Notability 4.1 new features — we are getting close to finishing 4.1, and there a several more features we’d like you to know about.
- Zooming & panning are improved on iPad 1 & 2.
- Selected handwriting can be “re-styled” – pen color and width can be changed. Very cool.
- The new page navigator supports tap and drag of pages to re-order them.
- 3 new paper backgrounds have been added, including the very popular “white”.
- “Open in” is now available for exporting a note to another app.
We’re beta testing now, and 4.1 is due to ship to Apple in a few days.

Notability 4.1 new features — now it’s easier to find, sort and export notes. The notes list includes thumbnails, making it easy to find the note you’d like. Thumbnails can also be dragged onto a subject, it’s that easy. When it’s time to export a note, the all-new export feature is both easier to use and more flexible. Now you can select a destination folder for your notes. And include a paper background when exporting PDF’s. All with fewer taps. Password protected notes now have no name or thumbnail, to keep them private. And notes automatically lock later, if you forget to lock them now.

Notability 4.1 new features — now you can easily navigate long PDF’s. You can view thumbnails of every page, scroll pages quickly, add pages, delete pages, clear pages and re-order pages, all with the new page navigator. When a note is re-opened, Notability returns to the last page viewed, which saves time. 4.1 is due mid-January.

Notability 4.1 new features — now it’s more convenient to write. The pen and highlighter tools are now separate, so switching pens requires just one tap. And each pen shows the color ink you’ve selected. When zoom writing, the target box is placed by a tap, so after you scroll, simply tap to place it. And the target box remains the same size from note-to-note, insuring your writing will be the same size. 4.1 is due mid-January.

Notability 4.1 new feature — now you can easily identify and make corrections to spelling, with the new spell check feature for typed text. Typo’s are now easy to spot and fast to correct with suggested words. 4.1 is due mid-January.
